Microdermabrasion

Unlike medical dermabrasion, which involves the complete removal of the epidermis and partial removal of the dermis (causing bleeding).

Micro -dermabrasion is a gradual and gentle way of correcting skin flaws and strengthening the dermis and epidermis to achieve an anti-aging effect. This is accomplished by projecting fine crystals over the skin, causing an abrasive action that gently removes the surface layer of the skin. This allows smoother fresher skin to emerge. At the same time, the vacuum action helps to stimulate micro-circulation, increasing the blood supply that provides nutrients needed for skin regeneration. It also stimulates formation of new collagen and elastin to improve skin texture and elasticity.

Micro-dermabrasion causes very little discomfort and immediately leaves the skin with a Sun-Kissed glow.  Micro-dermabrasion has proven to be effective for:

* Sun- damaged skin, uneven and granular skin, fine lines and wrinkles.
* Acne, black-heads and comedones, superficial scars and stretch marks.
